I SEE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING
Irish Museum of Modern Art, Process Room, Ireland, 2006
Media: ‘Irish for Beginners, Gaelic language lesson on CD', 12" loudspeaker, cling film, water.

Soundtrack of an Irish for Beginners fed into a naked speaker. Cling film is stretched over the speaker and covered with water to allow the different frequencies of sound track to create a constantly changing pool of wave patterns as the lesson goes on.

Pressure waves traveling through water medium, then air, to your ears and eyes. Courtesy from nature via our ‘seeing is believing’ mind.
